Abbeyleix Manor Hotel
The family run Abbeyleix Manor Hotel was built on a new site on the outskirts of the town opposite the old Abbeyleix Railway Station, which closed in 1963. After the building work was completed the hotel opened on the 10th of February 2000 with twenty-three Bedrooms, a Public Bar, a Restaurant and a Function Room. In addition to the bedrooms, the hotel now contains the Manor Fitness centre with a Sports Massage room, several meeting rooms, the Bar and Bistro and the Old Oak Restaurant. The Abbeyleix Manor Hotel is a vocal point for the community with many community events and meetings taking place at the hotel.
The Killamuck Bog located next to the hotel, allows guests experience some of the spectacular natural heritage that Abbeyleix has to offer. The Abbeyleix Manor Hotel is a great base to explore the heritage of County Laois and find out more about the fascinating history of Ireland.
